HERMITAGE BAY, ANTIGUA

A NEW STYLE OF LUXURY IN THE CARIBBEAN
( Download
brochure- require Adobe Reader)
Hermitage Bay will brings a new style of
luxury resort to Antigua. Set on
its own white powder sand beach in a virtually private bay
facing the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, the resort
will consist of 30 single storey cottages set in 10 acres
of tropical gardens and woodland.
Hermitage Bay will be Caribbean in style and
flavour but with a feel found in many Asian resorts: low
key luxury, a wonderful location, outstanding food and
service and spacious individual cottage accommodation, with
a limited number of cottages to create an exclusive oasis
of tranquillity.
The resort will be built of tropical
Guyanese wood to blend in with the gently undulating
landscape, creating a discreet and private resort
environment.
Accommodation will be spacious with dark
wood floors, décor and fabrics in white and natural shades,
large bathrooms with outdoor shower gardens, as well as the
most luxurious towels, linens and fixtures. The resort
will be environmentally friendly with particular attention
given to conservation and protection of the natural
habitat. Dining and cuisine will be a feature of the
resort, and service levels will be based on Asian
standards, with some staff initially recruited from Asia to
establish the service levels and style demanded.

The
resort’s styling has been created by Andrew Michelin, a
well known hotelier with over 30 years’ experience in some
of the world’s top properties, also known for creating
Cocos and cocobay in Antigua, both of which continue to be
in great demand. Andrew is joined by his son Alex
Michelin, already a successful boutique property developer
in the UK in his own right.
